| This is, indeed, entirely out of context. I was there, and everyone involved was acting entirely within reason given the circumstances. (Also, the "stirring up" part is the fact that he highlighted Fluffy's text in an attempt to get him in trouble.) While I will not go into the story behind this picture, I will say that, speaking in an impartial manner as an observer, I entirely support Fluffy and the others who Sipanik or knight may call out on it.
I agree with Fluffy's reply to this topic, and I too am quite tired of things like this spinning out of proportion. |

the highlight is caused by a option in the spoutcraft client called "Show Chat Mentions" and fluffy said my name that is why it was highlighted._________________ im going to miss you all.  |

Did you read the chat logs from before this picture was taken or look into it at all, or did you just jump to a convenient conclusion like everyone seems so fond of doing lately? I wish to offer a supplementary facepalm for your sake, if the second is the case. If the first is true, mentioning the reason for a decision in a case with little evidence on either side is common courtesy when offering a stance. Tell us why you feel a certain way about the case.
And yeah... I'd also like to address two more points that were brought up:
1. Why do I see a texture pack that renders stone invisible, and why does squirrel not comment on this? Is there no rule against that in squirrel's server?
2. Where is that quote from regarding the rule? Is that from one of the currently in-progress rule lists that haven't been finalized? Yes, that's a technicality and doesn't change the legitimacy of the statement, rule or not, but why not skip quoting arbitrary lists without fully attributing the excerpt and move strait to discussing it in a moral sense?
Everyone is bickering again, including myself now. Here is what I see wrong with this entire situation:
Knighteater should have directly confronted Fluffy about his actions.
Sipanic, if a post was needed and knight did not feel comfortable posting it, should have provided a context-based post with actual facts and a full story instead of bullshit that will obviously start a **** storm no matter how you interpret it. Jesus f-ing christ, the entire first post was like walking into an airport and yelling, "BOMB!" He could also have directly confronted Fluffy in knight's place.
In short, this topic was fairly pointless and only served to further annoy people. As of this reply, I know that Fluffy has finally talked directly to both sipan and knight about the matter, and I should hope that it gets solved in that manner, as it could have been from the beginning. I would love to simply delete this topic, but that would make me a hypocrite as I have scolded admins before for deleting topics they find frivolous or annoying. I hope, however, that after talking to Fluffy, Sipan will take the less hasty route and agree that this topic be removed.
In closing, none of this was of any use to anyone and could have been solved with the use of communication. Grow up and talk to each other. |
tl;dr, Gib is annoyed, everyone's posts lack a proper diplomatic touch, the entire issue was pointless, and it could have been solved in like 3 minutes over skype. |

| The last thing I have to say is that the only reason I was supporting sip and knight is because I knew knight was hurt, so I just wanted to step in and do something about it.
